Lucy's Italian Adventure

By Lucy Anderson

I’m supporting Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation.

I am walking from Lucca-to-Siena section of the Via Francigena, one of the most formidable stretches of the ancient pilgrimage route through Tuscany.

I will spend 9 days winding through olive groves, vineyards, medieval villages, and rolling countryside, the trail passes historic highlights including San Miniato, Gambassi Terme, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and the UNESCO-listed city of Siena.

This will be a gruelling physical challenge (albeit of an evening, I will be nursing my aches with pasta and Chianti) and I would love your support to raise funds for the new kid's cancer centre at PCH.

As a member of the PCH Foundation Development Advisory Network, and having a Mum who works at PCH, I am passionate about supporting the amazing work the doctors and nurses do every day for sick kids in our state.

Please support me by making a donation as I take on my challenge.

Thank you for your support.
